Multidisciplinary designers Elliott Bryce Foulkes and Maria Smit draw on a collaborative working process to explore the practice of graphic design within the museum. Working with the formal tropes of visual identity and collateral, 'Order of Events' reflects on the dynamics between exhibited artwork and the conventional design methodologies and the ways that graphic design contribute to and creates space — occupying overlooked surfaces, scaffolds and supports, and elaborating traditional print media and objects.
Saturday 16 March 11am
Join Elliott Bryce Foulkes and Maria Smit for an intimate tour of their exhibition 'Order of Events'. Both designers will discuss the development of their collaborative project and its exploration of graphic design and visual identities within the museum space.
