The most recent addition to Sydney’s creative and critical cultural life, UNSW Galleries aim to be more like living creative laboratories than traditional exhibition spaces.
Our programs are enriched by the participation and contributions of diverse audiences and communities of interest. One of UNSW’s most important public engagement resources, UNSW Galleries welcomes visiting community, school and education groups.
UNSW Galleries gratefully acknowledges the support of our generous community of individuals, government funders, educational, philanthropic and corporate partners, including among others: Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation, The Freedman Foundation, The Gordon Darling Foundation, Australia Council for the Arts, Arts NSW, Catalyst - Australian Arts and Culture Fund, National Exhibitions Touring Service (NETS) Australia, Copyright Agency I Viscopy, City of Sydney and the Wellcome Trust.
In 2017 Bridging Hope Charity Foundation joined our community as the Principal Partner for the Annual Graduate exhibitions and screenings for a period of five years. This visionary philanthropic investment supports emerging graduate artists, designers and media creators at a crucial moment in their early careers.
