Catherine Woolley is an experienced arts administrator and emerging arts writer. She is currently the Galleries & Curatorial Assistant working across exhibition development, curatorial research, and arts administration at UNSW Galleries. Prior to this Catherine was an administrator in Student Client Services at UNSW Art & Design. Catherine completed a Bachelor of Art Theory (Honours) in 2017, graduating with First Class Honours and the award of University Medal.
Julia Mendel is an experienced producer, working to develop community engagement projects and public programs for cultural institutions. She has previously held positions in public programs at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, community engagement at Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) and was the co-director of the Critical Animals Creative Research Symposium as part of This is Not Art.
Karen has extensive experience working in key cultural organisations nationally and internationally. She was Touring Exhibitions & Special Projects Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art (2005-2013) delivering an ambitious touring program and site-specific commissions and was Manager, International Signature Projects (Venice) at the Australia Council for the Arts (2013 – 2015) where her primary responsibility was the overall development and management of Australia’s representative exhibitions at the Venice Biennale.
Kelly has over ten years’ experience as a collaborative leader in the arts and cultural sector spanning across three tiers of Government, including State and Local Council, galleries, cultural venues and as an artist and curator. Most recently she was Manager, Arts Investment & Development at Create NSW where she supported the delivery of the Arts & Cultural Development Program and co-investment initiatives. Previously she worked as Business Officer for City of Sydney’s Pine Street Creative Arts Centre and Program Officer for Arts NSW.
José Da Silva has almost twenty years of curatorial and management experience in art museums, private and public sector environments. From 2006–18 he delivered an ambitious program of exhibitions and projects at the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA), working across the areas of moving image, contemporary international art and performance. He contributed to curatoriums for the ‘Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art’ in 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2018 and curated the major exhibitions ‘David Lynch: Between Two Worlds’ (2015) and ‘Earth and Elsewhere’ (2013).
