Project X3 is an Experiential Multi Disciplinary Learning and Teaching Research Environment that spans 3 UNSW Faculties including Art & Design, Built Environment and Engineering at UNSW.
The aim of our research group is to investigate and create a new studio environment that facilitates collaborative research, learning and teaching and provides students with the opportunity to experience a progressive studio and work experience environment that reflects an understanding of the multi-disciplinary nature of the professions they are about to enter.
Design for construction is an intensely multi-disciplinary approach, involving artists, architects, engineers, managers, and designers of all kinds. Project X3 is intended to give students an understanding of practice that comes from working across diverse disciplines.
