Peer Mentoring program
Beginning your first year at university can be both exciting and challenging. For lots of students the first couple of weeks are stressful – new people, new experiences, new expectations and demands. Uni life expects students to be self-reliant and self-motivated.
UNSW Art & Design's Peer Mentoring Program helps new students connect with their peers and transition smoothly to University life, with Mentors offering the personal support and advice you may need when starting your degree.
- It’s a lot of fun!
- Meet new students and other peers
- Get a head start on your Uni Life
- Create an inspiring and creative community!

This program is designed to help you to adjust to university life. It is a great way to get involved and make friends. As a new enrolling student, you will be linked up with current senior students, you can contact them if you need help finding out who to talk to, or what services are available or if you want to know where the best coffee is. They are there to support you in the transition to uni life.
The first meet-up is during O-Week.
