The Communicating the Arts conference and Culture Business conference are returning to Sydney. At each conference, more than 200 arts professionals will come together at The Australian National Maritime Museum, as well as fringe events in partnership with the city’s major cultural actors, including the Art Gallery of NSW. We are looking for students and/or young professionals to help with planning, organisation, and communications.
ABOUT COMMUNICATING THE ARTS
Since 2000, Communicating the Arts (CTA) is the rendezvous for communications professionals working in the arts. Each year we gather 200-300 senior experts in a new cultural city. We deliver inspiring keynote speeches, engaging panel discussions and thought-provoking learning sessions to address the latest trends in brand communications and public engagement for the cultural sector. The event is widely recognised as a rare opportunity for peers from across the globe to meet, exchange ideas and be inspired by experts.
ABOUT CULTURE BUSINESS
Culture Business (CB) advances global thinking and best practice in the development of the arts and culture.Held annually, this gathering of senior arts professionals, philanthropists, entrepreneurial thinkers and innovators explores new ideas and global best practice in all aspects of fundraising and income generation.From capital campaigns to crowd-funding, datadriven membership schemes to brand partnerships, Culture Business provides arts professionals with the latest insights and tools to take their fundraising to the next level.Culture Business and Communicating the Arts are staged by Paris-based communications agency Agenda.
WHAT IS REQUIRED?
•Full-time availability for one or both conferences, either 12-14 November (CTA) and/or 21-22 November (CB)
•Assist with logistics –registration, guiding groups, set up and pack down•Attend learning sessions, take notes and help summarise the conference’s main takeaways
•Contribute to the organisation and promotion of the conference •Contribute to social media campaign and post to social channels throughout the conference
•Help make CTA and CB as exciting and creative as possible –bring your own talents and ideas
