Enrolment for Semester 2, 2018 is now open. The best way to get the courses and class times you want is to enrol early.
Undergraduate students have an 'Enrolment Appointment' which indicates the day on which they can begin to enrol. You can check your enrolment appointment in your myUNSW Student Profile. Enrolment appointments are intended to give higher level students first choice of courses and to balance the traffic in myUNSW so it doesn't crash.
Postgraduate students do not have an Enrolment Appointment and can enrol any time after enrolment commences.
If you are a continuing student, we ask you to enrol for Semester 2, 2018 by 30 June. We regularly review class offerings to ensure viability and meet student demand.
UNSW Art & Design offers a wide range of Elective, Studio Stream and Contextual Studies courses.
The easiest way to identify what's available in the current Semester is to download the relevant list from this page.
If you are entering your 2nd year of a studio program in Fine Arts, Design or Media Arts, you will need to nominate your studio streams using the myUNSW Stream Declaration service via your Student Profile page. A number of places in studio classes are reserved for students taking courses as their required studios, so you may be unable to enrol until you've completed this step. Please see the information on the Studio Choices page.
If you are a 4th Year student ready to enrol in Honours, please visit this page for more information on the Honours Research Project.

Do you want to enrol in a class that's full?
Prior to the commencement of teaching, you can register your interest to enrol in a course by completing the Expression of Interest form. Registration does not mean that you will be enrolled in the course, however you will be advised if new classes are opened before they are advertised to other students, giving you an opportunity to enrol online as soon as any new class opens.
The Required Course application is only considered when a course is required for progression i.e. you will not be able to complete your degree without completing that specific course in the upcoming Semester. Click here for the Required Course Form.
