You are invited to participate in the 2020 A&D ANNUAL Graduate Exhibition & Website
This year the A&D ANNUAL will be presented as both a website and exhibition celebrating the work of graduating students from art, design and media arts.
The exhibition will take place across the entire of UNSW Galleries. Alongside the exhibition a website will be launched allowing all graduating students to participate and promote their work.
This is an opportunity to celebrate your achievements along with your peers, as well as present your practice to the wider community.
Each year, prizes are awarded to outstanding Art & Design graduates. Supported by the Bridging Hope Charity Foundation, the TWT Excellence Prize includes a $3,000 bursary and artist studio at St Leonards Creative Precinct for a year. Supported by Christopher Doyle & Co, an independent creative studio based in Sydney, the Christopher Doyle & Co Prize is awarded to an outstanding design graduate and includes a $3,000 bursary.

ANNUAL WEBSITE
The A&D ANNUAL Website is an opportunity to present your practice online alongside your graduating peers, no matter where you are in the world right now. You will be able to create a profile for the website including an artist/designer statement, a selection of images of your practice, and links to your personal website and/or Instagram account.
Submission of at least one image is mandatory to be included in the website, and a maximum of five images will be accepted. Any images or statements supplied must be your own work, and must not infringe copyright.
ANNUAL EXHIBITION
The A&D ANNUAL Exhibition will be presented across UNSW Galleries from 9 – 17 December 2020 with physical distancing measures in place. All works need to be delivered to UNSW Galleries between 25 November – 7 December 2020.
When proposing work for exhibition, please keep in mind that the A&D ANNUAL is a group show that accommodates works from a large cohort of students. Space is limited, so please only propose modest work for inclusion.
Installation
UNSW Galleries staff will design and install the exhibition. You will be notified of a specific date, time, and location to deliver your work between 25 November – 7 December 2020. You may or may not be requested to be onsite during install.
Students with 2D artworks must deliver their work with a suitable hanging system or D-rings attached for display. Students with time-based media work may be displayed on a show-reel, and students requiring AV resources may be requested to borrow this equipment from the Resource Centre (4D Hub) or Computing Services Unit (CSU). Please keep in mind that completing the registration form does not guarantee any equipment or installation requests.
Deinstallation
All works must be collected on Friday 18 or Saturday 19 December 2020 between 9am–5pm. Works will not be released before these dates. UNSW Galleries will not be responsible for the packaging of works. It is the responsibility of all students to return borrowed equipment.
