I have been involved in the arts in a variety of capacities for over 30 years. After completing a degree in Visual Arts at Sydney College of the Arts, in painting and photography, I began documenting my travels and developing my work abroad; my interests and practices taking me to all corners of the world including extended stays in Berlin, Spain, London and Tokyo, as well as travels through regions as remote as Northern Pakistan and Western China.
While residing abroad I was continuously working with artists, developing projects and exhibiting my work, in both group and solo exhibitions in galleries including Le Deco in Tokyo; Pabellon de Uruguay in Seville, Villa Kreuzberg in Berlin and The Museum of Contemporary Art in Osaka.
During my time abroad I developed an interest in adult literacy and after further study began working at Universities and Colleges in Singapore, Japan and Australia. This interest in academic literacy coupled with a passion for art brought me to COFA, where I have delivered the Post-graduate and Undergraduate literacy programs for the past few years.
For the over ten years I have also developed a successful professional photographic practice, working for construction firms, architects, designers and for Government departments such as the Reserve Bank of Australia. My own artistic projects continue to be a focus.
