Catherine Woolley is an experienced arts administrator and emerging arts writer. She is currently the Galleries & Curatorial Assistant working across exhibition development, curatorial research, and arts administration at UNSW Galleries. Prior to this Catherine was an administrator in Student Client Services at UNSW Art & Design. Catherine completed a Bachelor of Art Theory (Honours) in 2017, graduating with First Class Honours and the award of University Medal. Her research is interested in decolonial theory, intersectional feminism, queer theory, and the politics of representation. Catherine has written for Framework: Critical Arts Journal, and has recently worked with The Countess Report as a data collector on their 2019 report, counting gender representation in the NSW visual arts sector.
